A maximum of 16.5 hours can be earned. Only registered and verified attendees for the conference will be eligible to apply.

  1. Download or save the below CTLE form for the Fall Conference. It is a PDF that can be filled out using Adobe Acrobat (Free Download) or printed and filled out by hand.
  2. Complete Section 1 on the first page with your identifying information.
  3. On page 2, check off the presentations that you attended. Add up the total number of minutes for the presentations attended and record it at the bottom of the page.

2020 Conference Presentation Threads

The 81st Technology Conference at SUNY Oswego Graphic ID for the 2020 Fall Technology Conference

Our conference theme is Technology Education in Changing Times. As educators, we are committed to provide quality instruction for our students, regardless of the circumstances. To achieve this goal during this time necessitates that we learn new strategies, technologies, and methods of communication and engagement, for both inside and outside the classroom.

A quote by John Dewey continues to ring true: “Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.”

This time of change presses us to reimagine ourselves, both as learners and educators. The Virtual Oswego Fall Conference is an opportunity to support our colleagues and discipline by sharing strategies and projects that engage students and address educational objectives. Please consider recording a 20-30 minute video presentation to be presented as part of this year’s conference.  Share what you have learned, so others may benefit from your experience. We welcome both middle school and high school topics, and encourage the following conference threads:

Remote or Hybrid Instruction Tools and Techniques
Student Engagement and Inquiry
At Home Technology Activities and Projects
Assessment Strategies
Technology Enhanced Accessibility
Success Stories: Best practices and projects, lessons learned

We welcome presentations in one of these threads as well as topics you think will be of interest to conference attendees.

Present at the 81st

Don’t miss presenting at the 81st Technology Fall Conference!

We realize that daily routines have changed dramatically and that there are challenges to overcome to continue our mission of providing great Technology and Engineering Education experiences for all students. We know you are busy with this mission, and we think more than ever this is a time for our professional community to share and connect with one another.

The Technology Fall Conference is a friendly place to present and share ideas. Don’t miss this opportunity to share your skills, knowledge, and experiences. All presentations will be pre recorded so you can relax and enjoy the conference, interacting with participants through the asynchronous comments on YouTube. Having a permanent presentation publication online is a great way to highlight your efforts to administrators and colleagues.

To learn more about presenting at the Fall Conference and to sign up to present, please visit our present page today.

To show our appreciation, all presenters this year will be entered into a drawing, and the 3 names selected will receive complimentary registrations at the Technology Fall Conference on campus next year!

Please forward this note to any colleagues who may be interested.

We hope to receive your presentation title this week!

This year’s conference will include pre-recorded presentations on a “private” YouTube channel with follow-up questions and discussion through the comments.

The conference is free to “attend” at your leisure as we release daily presentations on both the 29th and the 30th for you to learn from and enjoy.
