How do I connect to the Wi-Fi?

Step 1: To access the Oswego-Guest wireless network, visitors will need to open the settings on their electronic devices and select the “Oswego-Guest” option.

Step 2: The next prompt will bring the guest to the “Visitor Wireless Access” Log In Screen. Visitors will need to select “Visitor Access”.

Step 3: Visitors will then need to enter information in the highlighted fields (first name, last name, email address, cell phone number).

Step 4: Visitors should then select the appropriate reason for visit. Conference guests can select “meeting or other”.

Step 5: Visitors will need to agree to the terms and conditions and click “Register”.

Visitors should now be connected to the Oswego-Guest wireless network. Connection will only be active for 24 hours and will need to be reactivated every 24 hours.

When is the Annual Technology Fall Conference?
This year, the Annual Fall Conference will be held from Thursday, October 26 through Friday, October 27, 2023. It is the largest conference of its kind in the Northeast, with the 2018 event exceeding 450 professionals. The Department of Technology Annual Technology Fall conference is always held on the last combined Thursday and Friday in October. This website provides current information on conference items and will offer program titles as they become available.

How long are the presentations? How do I become a presenter?
Each session runs 45 minutes for a regular session presentation or 90 min for a double-session workshop. Presenters should express their interest by signing up early.

If I register to present are my co-presenters and I registered for the conference?
Yes, when you fill out the presenter registration form you and your co-presenters are automatically registered to attend the conference.

I’m a presenter/vendor and I have materials that need to be dropped off. Where can I do this?
Any materials that need to be dropped off, can be done on the north side of Wilber Hall. From Washington Blvd, turn onto Sheldon Ave, then make a left onto Rudolph Rd, and a left onto Centennial Dr. Just before Shineman Center, there is an unnamed road, turn left onto it and follow it around to the vendor and presenter drop off signs.

Will there be exhibitors? How can I sign up to be one?
There will be a full ship of commercial exhibitors, with an expected number of over 20. The commercial space rental fee is just $400 and includes digital advertising. Potential exhibitors should contact Dr. Mark Hardy, SUNY Oswego, 103B Park Hall, Oswego, New York 13126, or send an email message to mark.hardy@oswego.edu . How do I stay informed on conference announcements?
Please join our conference list serve. It is an announcement listserv (instead of discussion) and your email will not be visible in any email we send.

How do I register?
Conference registration is a very reasonable cost ($100). Visit the registration page to register today and get more information.

Is there CTLE Credit?
The conference has nine, 45-minute presentations which are equal to 6.75 hours of Professional Development.

Are there driving directions and Parking?
Parking is available in LOT # 7 near the Romney Field House athletic complex. No parking sticker is needed on Thursday and Friday of the conference. Continuously running shuttle buses will travel between the parking lot and the conference site.

Are there accommodations for persons with disabilities?
Persons with disabilities, needing accommodations to attend the conference, should contact Rich Bush at 315.312.3990 in advance.

Are High School and College level visitors welcome?
Yes! All students are welcome! Full-time students receive complimentary registration. It is recommended that High School teachers bring a reasonably sized group of juniors/seniors interested in a Technology Education career. Remember, there are no overnight accommodations on campus, and teachers are expected to supervise students at all times. Contact Richard Bush (richard.bush@oswego.edu) if you will be bringing public school students. They may be eligible for a complimentary lunch in the dining hall.
