Welcome back to Oswego! Thank you for joining the Department of Technology for our 83rd Annual Technology Fall Conference. This is one of the biggest programs we have ever put together. We hope you enjoy yourself over the next two days reconnecting with old classmates, students, and the campus community.

Faculty update:
Mr. Weinshreider left the department to return to MCC.
We welcomed two new Assistant Professors: Mr. Ron Alexander and Mr. Chris Stein.
Mr. Alexander is teaching the Energy & Power and Transportation courses as well as some sections of the Introduction to Engineering Materials classes. Mr. Alexander is joining us from SUNY Morrisville, where he spent 17 years.
Mr. Stein is teaching Design and TED 310 Technology and Civilization. He spent the last two years with us as an adjunct. Prior to joining the faculty full-time, Mr. Stein taught in the Liverpool Central School District since 2004.
We are happy to announce that Dr. Laura Spenceley was named the new Dean of the School of Education in June. This fall we welcomed Ms. Rebecca Fisher to our Clinical Practice and Partnerships Office as the Assistant Field Placement Coordinator. Rebecca coordinates all the field placements for our Technology Education students.
Please join me in welcoming and congratulating all our new colleagues in their new positions.

A special shout out to our commercial vendors who are an integral part of making this conference possible. We appreciate your continued dedication to being part of our annual conference.

Finally, it cannot be said enough that YOU are our connection to the next generation of teachers. Our incoming class total for fall 2022 was 42 students. Unfortunately, this is not enough to sustain the profession. In order to keep our profession alive, we need you to encourage your students to consider a degree in Technology Education or Technology Management at SUNY Oswego. We all need to help inspire more people to join our profession. Let us know how we can connect in person or virtually with you and your students to explore the opportunities that SUNY Oswego has to offer. Please reach out to
