Welcome back to Oswego! Thank you for joining the Department of Technology for our 86th Annual Technology Fall Conference. We hope you enjoy yourselves over the next two days reconnecting with friends, faculty, the campus, and the Oswego community.
For the third year the department continues to be recognized by ITEEA as a STEM School of Excellence.
In other department news, our now online Master’s Program is growing at an exceptional rate. We are up to 62 students currently enrolled. I would like to give a shout out to the department’s graduate assistant Ashely Golden, for all she does in so many ways supporting students and faculty. She is completing the 4 + 1 program and leaving Oswego with her Master’s Degree completed as she heads into her teaching career.
We’d also like to give a special shout out to the great showing of commercial exhibitors new and returning located in the connector between Wilber and Shineman. Our exhibitors continue to be an integral part of making this conference possible. We appreciate their continued dedication to being part of our annual conference and we encourage you to visit their booths.
The faculty thanks you for inspiring your students to consider Oswego and teaching or technology management as a career path. This year 83 students were accepted; this is a ten year high. Thirty-three of those 83 enrolled, so please keep talking us up as a career choice. You are our connection to the next generation of teachers and managers.
Let us know how we can connect in person or virtually with you and your students to explore the opportunities that SUNY Oswego has to offer. Please reach out to me at 315-312-3990 or richard.bush@oswego.edu.
Please enjoy the marvelous conference we have planned for you. We appreciate your attendance!
Mark your calendar for October 29-30, 2026 for next year’s 87th Technology Fall Conference.
