Technology Education — Keeping the Momentum Going: Changing, Growing and Prospering
The landscape of technology education has consistently evolved, driven societal needs, economic development, and accountability of student achievement. In the 21^st century the stakes are high and educators are challenged to raise the bar for all students. This presentation will focus on STEM awareness with an emphasis on the “T” and “E”, standards, implications, challenges, and opportunities to inspire our students in the 21^st century. Participants will be introduced to a few best practices to improve the pipeline of STEM literate students, specifically technology and engineering and how it connects with science and mathematics education.
